Terms of service for Commissions
1. Process
By commissioning me, you agree to these terms of service.
The beginning of the art piece: I will first get a solid idea of what you want in the commission. Reference photos are welcome and helpful, detailed descriptions if you have a concrete idea in mind on what you want drawn. Once you provide me with the information needed to get started, you will need to pay me at least half of the whole cost upfront or the full cost of the commission. I will then do the first sketch of your requested art piece and ask if you are satisfied with that. Once you’re satisfied with the sketch layout, I can move to the next steps in the process, including, lineart, coloring, rendering, and final details. When the art is complete and you, the client is satisfied, you will pay the other half of the commission cost if you didn’t already pay the full cost upfront. Once paid in full, I will send you the high-resolution image without my watermark.
Ask for updates: You, as the client, may ask me anytime throughout the process for updates on the work. However, in order to protect my work throughout the process, I will add a watermark on the progress updates.
Time it will take to complete: It will take me up to two weeks maximum to finish an art piece, putting into account there are more complex commissions that I can create and those take longer. Simpler commissions could take 3-5 days.
Digital commission files: I will send digital art as PNG and JPEG files. However, if you need the work provided in a different file, let me know, and I’ll see if I can make that happen for you.
Where the client will receive the commission: I will send the commission or logo to you via Gmail or Discord, to avoid losing the quality.
2. Payment and Refunds
At least half of the full cost must be paid upfront before I begin the commission, or you can pay in full upfront. This is to avoid scams, once at least half has been paid, I will begin your sketch. When the artwork is finished, you will send me the other half of the total cost before I send you the final artwork in high resolution, if you hadn’t already paid the full cost upfront.
Payments I accept: I currently accept, Paypal, Venmo, and Cash App.
I do not accept refunds once an art piece is complete. However, you are welcome to pause the commission in progress for however long you need it to be paused to not pay the rest for now, this applies if you paid half upfront. You need to keep me updated as to when you will be unpausing the commission.
The finished final commission will only be sent to the client once the cost has been paid in full.
Commercial use: Commercial commissions are welcome! With that noted, if you plan to use my work commercially, I will be paid 10% of the revenue generated each time my artwork is sold from the client that is using my work commercially.
